Board Of Management

Easy-Go Connect is governed by a board of management. The Board is skilled in all areas of business operation with particular strength in sound financial and risk management and the ability to steer the organisation towards its strategic goals.

The Board’s role is to:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for Easy-Go Connect.
  • Set management goals and approve the annual budget.
  • Progressively monitor and review Easy-Go Connect’s risk management strategies, including the integrity of internal control and management information systems.

The Board may, in accordance with the Constitution and the Association’s Incorporation Act (NSW) 2009, delegate a range of functions, powers and duties to sub-committees and management.

The Board monitors and reviews Easy-Go Connect’s compliance with its statutory obligations, not only to meet the organisation’s legal obligations, but also to provide assurance to our members, our funders and our 3,500 plus registered clients.

Michael Howard Treasurer

Qualifications

  • Masters of Business Administration
  • Chartered Practicing Accountant
  • Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)

Experience and Special Responsibilities

  • Member of the finance subcommittee
  • Over 10 years with CBA (various Finance positions involving financial reporting, investment decisioning and property strategy)
  • 8 years various finance roles with Woolworths, State Street Global Markets and Westpac.

Joshua Baker Ordinary Member

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Hons)
  • Graduate Diploma in Management
  • Masters of Business Administration
  • Certified Practising Engineer

Experience and Special Responsibilities

  • With over 15 years’ experience in the infrastructure industry, Joshua has been an integral member of several teams successfully delivering key transport and civil infrastructure projects. Joshua has been primarily involved in project management roles focussing on overall business strategy and client engagement (RMS, TfNSW).
  • As part of the board, Joshua’s role is to drive the strategic direction of the organisation to ensure overall business performance, but also to supervise overall compliance performance including its legal and policy obligations through appropriate risk management.

Experience and Special Responsibilities

  • Member of the finance subcommittee
  • Over 20 years’ experience in providing taxation, accounting and business advisory services to private companies, subsidiaries of multinationals, partnerships and trusts.
  • Specialises in SME sector and works with companies ranging from start up to turnover in
    excess of $150 million.
  • Provides expertise in cash flow planning, governance and business management including presenting detailed analysis of business performance to the board and management
